# Gains (G) — What you're achieving with AI

The Gains pillar measures the tangible outputs and productivity improvements tied to AI adoption. Compare AI-assisted repositories to identify your highest-impact projects. Track trends in AI-assisted PRs and lines of code shipped over time. Benchmark AI-active developers against non-AI users across five key metrics: coding time per PR, review time per PR, hotfix resolution time, rework rate, and PR volume. See week-over-week adoption depth by team to identify leaders and laggards. This pillar translates adoption into business outcomes.

**Key metrics:**

* Top 5 Repos by AI Contribution — ranked by AI lines of code, with views for code vs. test breakdown and work type (new work, rework, maintenance)
* AI-Assisted vs. Non-Assisted Output Over Time — trend comparison by PRs merged or lines of code shipped
* AI Users vs. Non-AI Users — side-by-side comparison of productivity metrics, showing whether AI-active developers deliver faster
* Weekly AI Usage by Team — heatmap showing adoption depth (heavy, moderate, light, none) week by week
