# How can I add a template in dashboards for my org to follow?

**Custom Templates**:

* The **Template** section in Dashboards does not currently support adding custom templates directly.

**Creating and Sharing Dashboards**:

* Alternatively, you can create a **public dashboard**, which can be shared and accessed by other users.
* **Note**: Only the **dashboard owner** has the ability to edit the dashboard, ensuring control over its content and structure.
