# Team plan

Hivel tracks your team's Claude Code usage through Claude's organization-managed settings. You paste a settings snippet into Claude.ai once. Then usage telemetry flows to Hivel automatically.

### **Prerequisites**

* Your organization is on the Claude Team plan (claude.ai)
* You are the Primary Owner or Admin of your Claude organization

### **In Hivel:**

1. Go to [Hivel](https://app.hivel.ai/settings/) → **Settings** → **Integrations** tab.

2. Search for **Claude Code** and click **Connect**.

3. In the pop-up, select **Team** and click **Continue**.

4. Copy the settings script displayed in the UI.
5. You can then directly open **Claude organization settings** from Hivel's Ui or refer to Step 1 in the next section.

### **In Claude.ai:**

1. Open [Claude organization settings](https://claude.ai/admin-settings/claude-code).
2. Next to **Managed settings** (settings.json), click **Manage**.

3. Paste the script from Hivel into the Managed settings editor.
4. Click **Update settings**.
5. Return to Hivel and click **I've pasted it on the UI** to confirm.

### **Important:**

* Verify `"OTEL_RESOURCE_ATTRIBUTES": "org.HivelId=<orgId>"` contains your Hivel Organization ID before pasting. Contact <support@hivel.ai> if missing.

### **What Happens Next**

The settings roll out to your team's Claude Code automatically. Usage data starts flowing to Hivel as your team runs Claude Code sessions.
