# Claude Code Integration

### Claude Integration Guide: Enterprise and Team Plans

Hivel tracks your Claude Code usage through Claude's organization-managed settings. Whether you're on the Claude Enterprise or Team plan, the setup is straightforward—paste a settings snippet into your Claude admin console once, and usage telemetry flows to Hivel automatically.

#### Before You Start

* Your organization is on either the Claude Enterprise or Claude Team plan (claude.ai)
* You are an Owner or Admin of your Claude organization (you need access to Organization settings)
* For Enterprise plan only: You'll need to create an enterprise API key

### Setup Steps

#### **Step 1 (Enterprise Plan Only) - Create an API Key**

If you're on the Enterprise plan, you'll need to create an enterprise API key first:

* Visit the Claude API access section: <https://claude.ai/admin-settings/api-access>
* Create an API key and store it securely
* Keep this key for your records

**Skip to Step 2 if you're on the Team plan.**&#x20;

**Please note: All following steps are common for Enterprise and Team plans.**

### **Step 2 - Open Claude Organization Settings**&#x20;

* Go to: <https://claude.ai/admin-settings/claude-code>
* Or you can open it from the UI by clicking on 'Open Claude Code Organization Settings'

#### **Step 3 - Click on Claude Code**

* In Organization Settings, open the **Claude Code Section**

#### **Step 4 - Click on Managed Settings**

* Next to **Managed settings (settings.json)**, click **Manage**

* The Managed settings editor will open

#### **Step 5 - Configure Managed Settings**

1. **Copy** the script displayed in the UI
2. **Paste** it into the **Managed settings editor**
3. Click **Update settings**
4. Confirm that you have pasted it by clicking on **'I've pasted it on the UI'**

#### **Step 6 - Complete**

You'll see a "Settings updated" confirmation. Close the Managed settings panel—you're done.

#### What Happens Next

After setup completes for either plan:

* The settings roll out to your team's Claude Code automatically
* Usage data starts flowing to Hivel as your team runs their next Claude Code sessions
