# Claude Team plan integration

Hivel tracks your Team's Claude Code usage through Claude's organization-managed settings. You paste a small settings snippet (given in the UI) into your Claude.ai admin settings once - after that, usage telemetry flows to Hivel automatically. 

### Before you start make sure:

* Your organization is on the Claude Team plan (claude.ai).
* You are an Owner or Admin of your Claude organization (you need access to Organization settings).

#### Step 1 - Copy the org settings.

* Open [Hivel](https://app.hivel.ai/settings/) → Settings → Integrations.\ <br>

* Search for **Claude Code** and click **"Connect".**

* A pop-up will open, select "**Team**" and click "**Continue**".

* You can directly open Claude organization settings through the Ui or follow the next steps below.

#### Step 2 - Open your Claude organization settings

* Go directly to: <https://claude.ai/admin-settings/claude-code>
* You will land on the claude code’s organization settings.

#### Step 3 - Open Managed settings

* Next to Managed settings (settings.json), click Manage.

* Managed settings editor will open.

#### Step 4 - Paste the settings shown in the UI

* **Copy** the script displayed in the UI
* **Paste** it into the **Managed settings editor**
* Click **Update settings**
* Confirm that you have pasted it by clicking on **'I've pasted it on the UI'**

> <mark style="color:$primary;">**NOTE:**</mark>**&#x20;organization Id is required to complete this step**,Verify that  **`"OTEL_RESOURCE_ATTRIBUTES": "org.HivelId=<orgId>"`**  contains your Hivel Organization ID before copying the settings. Else contact Hivel support at <support@hivel.ai>

#### Step 5 - Done

You'll see a "Settings updated" confirmation - close the Managed settings panel. That's it.

**What happens next**

* The settings roll out to your team's Claude Code automatically.
* Usage data starts flowing to Hivel as your team runs their next Claude Code sessions.
