Business plan (Integration)

Hivel integrates with GitHub Copilot Business to track adoption and usage metrics across your organization. You authorize the connection once through GitHub. Then metrics flow to Hivel automatically.

Prerequisites

• Your organization has GitHub Copilot Business (not Individual or Pro)

• You have an organization owner account or a custom role with "View organization Copilot metrics" permission

• Copilot Metrics API is enabled in your GitHub organization

Enable Copilot Metrics API in GitHub:

1. Log in to GitHub with your organization account.

2. Go to Settings (organization settings, not personal settings).

3. In the left sidebar, click Copilot → Policies.

4. Under Features, find Copilot usage metrics and set it to Enabled.

In Hivel:

1. Log in to Hivel with your Copilot admin account.

2. Go to Settings → Integrations tab.

1. Find the Copilot card and click Connect.

1. Select Business plan and click Continue. You'll be redirected to GitHub.

1. Verify that you are a GitHub admin to proceed

In GitHub:

1. Click Grant to authorize Hivel's access to your organization.

What Happens Next

Metrics are processed within 24 hours. You'll see adoption data in the Copilot Adoption screen.
