# Deployment Checklist

* [ ] Host provisioned.
* [ ] Prerequisites installed on the host, versions verified ([Prerequisites](/self-managed-hivel-deployment/on-premises-generic/hivel-on-premises-deployment-guide-generic/prerequisites.md)).
* [ ] Registry access configured.
* [ ] PostgreSQL installed, superuser password set, insightly database created.
* [ ] PostgreSQL configured to accept connection from the host; firewall opened for 5432.
* [ ] Backup routine set up for PostgreSQL, ([Backup and Restore](/self-managed-hivel-deployment/on-premises-generic/hivel-on-premises-deployment-guide-generic/backup-and-restore.md)).
* [ ] Installer package downloaded and license files added on the host.
* [ ] .env configured with database credentials; connection tested.
* [ ] Flyway migration completed successfully; .env switched to \<user>.
* [ ] Host deployed.
* [ ] Log rotation set up on the host.
* [ ] All services report healthy; application accessible (direct, reverse proxy, or Caddy/HTTPS).
* [ ] Validation checklist ([Verification and Access](/self-managed-hivel-deployment/on-premises-generic/hivel-on-premises-deployment-guide-generic/verification-and-access.md)) passed, including first-data confirmation.
