Deployment Checklist

• EC2 instance provisioned (VM)

• Prerequisites installed on the VM, versions verified

• AWS CLI configured

• Hivel AWS credentials configured

• ECR access tested

• RDS PostgreSQL provisioned

• RDS security group allows EC2 access, and only EC2 access

• Database "insightly" created manually

• Project downloaded to the VM

• License files added

• .env file configured with RDS credentials

• RDS connection tested

• Flyway migration completed successfully (VM)

• VM services deployed

• Log rotation setup completed

• All services healthy

• Validation checklist passed, including first-data confirmation

• Application accessible

• Backup approach confirmed for RDS
